Which one to pick

Pick Strong if you want a log. Pick Mitta if you want a plan.

Strong has been around for years and does one thing very well: recording your workouts quickly, on your phone or your watch. Mitta is built for people who want to be told what comes next.

  • Strong is the better pick if…you write your own programme, you want a native app on iPhone, Android and Apple Watch today, and you don’t need help with food.
  • Mitta is the better pick if…you want a target for every set, a plan that fits your week, and your food in the same place.
  • Switching is easyExport your Strong history as a CSV and import it. Your records and targets start from what you have already lifted.

Questions about
Mitta vs Strong

Does Strong tell you what weight to lift?

Strong shows what you did last time, plus warm-up and plate calculators. Its website and App Store page don’t describe automatic weight targets. Mitta sets a weight and rep target for every set from your last sessions.

Does Strong track food?

No. Strong’s website and App Store page don’t mention food or nutrition tracking. Mitta has a food diary with barcode scanning and a calorie target that, with Pro, learns from your weight trend.

Can I bring my Strong history to Mitta?

Yes. Export your history from Strong as a CSV file and import it into Mitta. Exercises are matched to the Mitta library, and importing is free.

Can I use Mitta today?

Mitta is in beta. Invited testers use the web app now; the iPhone app comes next and Android later. Apply on the beta page to get an invite.

Is Mitta free?

Mitta has a Free plan with no time limit: your plan, a target for every set, the food diary and importing your history. Pro and Pro + AI add more. Prices follow at launch.
