Built-in limits.

Mitta’s own targets stay above a calorie minimum and change in small steps. A help card appears if what you type in the coach, Quick log or workout notes looks like a crisis, an eating disorder or a physical warning sign.

Why it works

Some limits are built in.

A fitness app can do harm if it pushes too hard. Mitta keeps its own targets above a minimum and moves them in small steps. It looks for certain words and can miss things, so it is a signpost, not a safety net.

  • Calorie floorAbove 1,200 kcal, or 1,500 for men.
  • GradualSmall, slow changes.
  • Support cardShown instead of an AI answer when words suggest a crisis or an eating disorder.

You stay in charge

Not medical advice

Mitta is not a doctor. It looks for certain words in Dutch and English and can miss things. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Questions about
built-in limits

Is there a minimum calorie target?

Yes. Mitta’s own targets stay above 1,200 kcal, or 1,500 for men. You can set your own target in Settings; the lowest it accepts is 1,200.

What happens if I write something worrying?

If it looks like a crisis or an eating disorder, you get a help card instead of an AI answer. Mitta looks for certain words in Dutch and English, so it can miss things.

Is Mitta medical advice?

No. Mitta is not a doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian. For pain, an injury or a health condition, ask a professional.

Is this in every plan?

Yes.
