Terms

Terms of use

In short

  • Mitta is a training and food app for adults. It is not medical advice.
  • Mitta is in beta: it can contain errors and change. You can always download your data.
  • The AI coach is an AI, not a human. It suggests; you decide.
  • Joining the waitlist is free and gives no right to an invite on a set date.

Who we are

Mitta is a product of Digicc One, a sole proprietorship run by Cody de Leeuw, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 84260335, VAT number NL003941157B38, based in Geldrop, the Netherlands. Questions about these terms: privacy@digicc.one.

What Mitta is for

Mitta is a training and nutrition app for adults who are able to exercise. You can tell it about aches and past injuries so it picks easier exercises. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor diseases or injuries, and it does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian. If you have pain, an injury or a medical condition, are pregnant, or have (a history of) an eating disorder, talk to a healthcare professional before you start.

Stop training and contact a doctor if you have chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness or sharp pain. In an emergency, call 112.

The beta

Mitta is in beta. The app can contain errors, change or be temporarily unavailable, and there is no guarantee that it always works or that every calculation is right. You can always download your data, and if the beta stops, we tell you well in advance.

The waitlist and your personal link

  • Joining the waitlist is free. We invite people in small groups, starting near the top of the list and with a mix of sports and phones, at a pace that lets us help everyone who joins. Your place is an indication, not a promise of an invite on a certain date.
  • Only confirmed signups count, on the list and as a referral. Every friend who signs up with your link and confirms moves you up 5 places.
  • Signing yourself up through your own link, fake or throwaway addresses and other ways to game the list don’t count. We may remove such signups and correct places on the list.
  • We may change or end the waitlist and the referral rules. Places already earned keep counting.

The founding offer

If you join the waitlist before the public launch and confirm your email address, you get 50% off Pro or Pro + AI for the first 3 months of your first paid subscription. After those 3 months the normal price applies. You choose Pro or Pro + AI when you claim the offer. The offer is personal, applies once per person (we check by email address) and can’t be exchanged for money or combined with a code. The public launch is the day we open paid plans to everyone; we announce it by email and on this website. Before you pay, we show you the price, what happens after the 3 months and how to cancel.

Plans and codes

The Free plan has no time limit. Pro and Pro + AI add features; during the beta they can be unlocked with a code, a tester invitation or the trial. The trial gives Pro + AI for 14 days, once per account, with a confirmed email address and no card; when it ends your account goes back to Free and nothing is charged. A code gives a plan for the period stated with the code, is personal unless stated otherwise and can end when its period or number of uses runs out. Prices for paid plans follow at launch; nothing is charged without your explicit agreement. The AI features have monthly limits.

The AI coach

The coach is an AI (Claude by Anthropic), not a human. Answers can contain mistakes, so check important advice. Suggestions, such as a new plan or a different daily target, are never applied automatically: nothing changes until you approve it.

Using Mitta

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • One account per person. Keep your password to yourself.
  • Don’t misuse or try to get around the app, the website or the AI coach, and stay away from other people’s data.
  • If you misuse Mitta, we can end your account. Where possible, you can download your data first.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings. We then delete your data as described in the privacy statement.

Your feedback

Your data stays yours. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Mitta without paying you.

Liability

Digicc One is liable for damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness, for death or personal injury caused by a fault of ours, and wherever the law says we are liable. This does not take away any right you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law. Train within your limits and stop if something hurts.

Content and sources

The website, the app, their texts, designs and the name Mitta belong to Digicc One. You may share links and screenshots; please don’t copy larger parts without asking.

Nutritional values come from the Dutch NEVO database (RIVM); RIVM is not liable for errors in or wrong use of the NEVO data. Values for the UK and Ireland come from CoFID (McCance and Widdowson’s Composition of Foods Integrated Dataset, 2021): contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Values for the US come from USDA FoodData Central (public domain, CC0). Product data comes from Open Food Facts under the Open Database License. Technique videos belong to the credited creators and play via YouTube. Mitta is not affiliated with these creators.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms for a valid reason, for example a change in the law, a new feature or the start of paid plans. We tell you at least 30 days before a change that is worse for you, in the app or by email. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Mitta and delete your account; if you pay, you can cancel. Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country you keep the protection of the mandatory rules there. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law lets you go to the court where you live.
