How to share a workout as an image

In short

Open the workout summary and tap Share as image. Mitta shows a preview of every style. Pick one, then tap Share, Save or Copy. Four styles are free and all 18 come with Pro. The image holds your workout numbers and the Mitta name, nothing else about you.

Where do you find it?

Finish a workout and you land on its summary. You can also open an older one from your plan: tap the finished workout, then View summary.

Top right is a round button, Share as image. It only shows when the workout has at least one logged set. Tap it and the Share sheet opens.

How do you share it?

  1. In the Share sheet, every style is shown as a small preview of your own workout. Tap one to choose it. The chosen style stays selected the next time.
  2. At the bottom, tap Share, Save or Copy.

The previews take a moment to fill in. The buttons stay grey until the full image is ready.

The image is a PNG of 1080 by 1920 pixels, the shape of a story. The text stays clear of the areas an Instagram story covers at the top and bottom.

What is different on the web and on a phone?

The three buttons do the same thing everywhere, but the device decides how:

  • Share opens the share menu of your device when it can share a file, for example to Instagram or Messages. Where it cannot, the image is downloaded instead.
  • Save downloads the PNG in a browser, and you see Image saved. In the iPhone app a download is not possible, so Save opens the share menu, where you can choose to save the image.
  • Copy puts the image on your clipboard so you can paste it into a story. The button only appears when your browser allows copying images.

If something fails you see That didn’t work. Please try again. or, for copying, Copying doesn’t work here. Use Share or Save. The iPhone app is coming through TestFlight, so the web app is where you will use this today.

What is on the image?

It is built from the workout itself:

  • The workout name (or Free workout) and the date.
  • Total volume, duration, number of sets and records. Some styles also show reps.
  • The best set of each exercise, for example 60 kg × 8, with a mark on the ones that are records.
  • Some styles use more: the muscles you trained, how your estimated 1RM moved, or each set in order.
  • The name Mitta.

It does not hold your name, email, photos, body weight or food. One style, Muscles, draws a body figure, and that figure follows the sex set in your profile.

The image is made on your device. Nothing is posted anywhere until you choose where it goes.

What are the 18 styles?

Each name is followed by what Mitta shows under it. Styles marked transparent have no background, so you can lay them over your own photo or video in a story. In the preview they sit on a dark checkered background.

The monthly and yearly recaps can be shared the same way. They offer 15 of the styles: Rhythm, Line and Timeline need single workouts and are left out.

Which plan do you need?

Four styles are free: Poster, Card, Ticket and Overlay. All 18 are part of Pro, and of Pro + AI-coach.

On a Pro style in the Free plan, the preview shows a Pro badge. When you pick it, the three buttons are replaced by the line This style is part of Pro. 4 styles are free. and a button, See Pro. Choose one of the free four to share without it.

Accounts made before 18 October 2026 keep every style, whatever plan they are on.
