Why we changed it

A plan is a suggestion. Your workouts are yours.

This came straight from a beta tester: they deleted a workout and could not find it again, and wanted a weekly run club that the plan could not hold. So the planner now only touches the workouts it made itself.

  • The planner leaves yours aloneWorkouts you made are never deleted by a new plan. If it needs their day, they move to “Not planned”.
  • You see the impact firstThe proposal screen lists what will stay.
  • Delete with a confirmationRemoving a workout asks first, and earlier workouts can be restored.

Smaller changes

Things you might notice along the way.

  • Cardio you log by hand is completed by Apple Health data instead of doubled
  • A fixed weekly sport, like a run club on Wednesday, can be added as cardio
  • Unplanned workouts are always open, with a Plan button
